Well guys, I had a release planned but in light of the new update and their new obfuscation technique; those plans went out the window. No problem though because I have found another way to do the same thing, which is allowing people to continue working on their own hacks without fear of being banned by using a certain detected feature.

This patch will do that and more. The more being that it will restore the border in window mode, and remove the XP bar from the bottom. This release does NOT contain anything to prevent/remove your ban, so don't ask. The only thing that's required is that you run this program once while the game is running, to make a valid dll that you will later place in your MW2 folder. The dll will be created in the same folder as you place this patch, just do NOT place it into your MW2 folder because it will not be able to create the dll while the game is running.

Ok, this is my first release here, hope you enjoy it. this is a small part of my private cheat which I decided to release.
This was originally created for alterIWnet not the Steam version of the game.
but if you want to make it ready for the Steam version, just find for the "alterIWnet" in the "myIDirect3DSwapChain9.cpp" source file and replace it with your MW2 window name and build it again!

And as I said, this is only a little part of my private cheat, and as I didn't have time to completely clean it's source code for learning purposes, it's source is ugly as hell. sorry

Installation:

1) just copy the d3d9.dll and crosshair.png next to your iw4mp.exe
2) run the game.
3) for toggling crosshair on or off, just press the HOME key

About Detected Status:

I really don't know that this will trigger Anti cheats or not? but the fact is that I'm using it for about 5~6 months and I didn't get banned for it even with the new ACI

Known Bugs:

You tell me! cuz I didn't see anything from it by now

Customization:

It's really easy! just edit the crosshair.png with your favorite image editor

Just for the record:

The term "External" doesn't mean that it'll get drawn to the screen via Aero tricks or so, it means, it's image is external and you can edit it easily. nothing else.

  4. All weapons now have a new accuracy model which fixes many bugs and provides more intuitive weapon behavior
  5. Weapons now have separate accuracy penalties for jumping, landing, and standing on ladders

  7. Accuracy penalties for movement no longer have a discrete threshold, but scale between crouch move and run speed

  54. Marked the "mat_diffuse" convar as a cheat to protect against exploits.
  55. Fixed issue with buying multiple grenades when ammo_*_max were set to other than the defaults.
